Role Summary The Junior Tekla Modeler supports the creation of accurate 3D steel models and associated outputs under guidance, ensuring alignment with project requirements, quality expectations, and delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities

? Create and update 3D steel models in Tekla Structures

? Interpret structural and architectural drawings for modeling accuracy

? Assist in project setup including environments, templates, and basic settings

? Place members, grids, and standard connections as per project requirements

? Perform self-review after completion of each modeling activity

? Support generation of drawings, reports, and material lists

? Coordinate with senior modelers, detailers,



and checkers to resolve issues

? Maintain numbering discipline and modeling consistency

Required Skills & Experience

✅ 2–4 years of experience in Tekla Structures

✅ Exposure to Australian steel detailing projects

✅ Understanding of structural steel and miscellaneous steel modeling

✅ Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings

✅ Solid attention to detail and quality mindset

✅ Good communication and teamwork skills
