Role Description This full-time, on-site Junior Interior Designer role is based in Bengaluru.
The Junior Interior
Designer will support senior designers in developing interior concepts, preparing mood boards, and assisting with space planning for residential and commercial projects. Daily responsibilities include collaborating on interior layouts, coordinating FF&E; selections, preparing construction drawings, and working closely with architects, contractors, and vendors to implement design solutions. The role also involves site visits, documenting project progress, updating design documentation, and ensuring that sustainability and holistic design principles are reflected in project deliverables.
The Junior Interior
Designer will participate in client meetings, help refine design presentations, and contribute to maintaining project timelines and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Ability to work with Space Planning and Interior Design concepts to create functional and aesthetically pleasing environments.
- Understanding of Architecture principles and collaboration with architectural teams in integrated design projects.
- Proficiency in preparing and interpreting Construction Drawings for interior projects.
- Experience or familiarity with FF&E; (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) selection, specification, and coordination.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field.
- Working knowledge of design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools).
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with clients, internal teams, and external partners.
- Interest in sustainable design practices and willingness to learn holistic design approaches.
- Portfolio demonstrating design projects or academic work in interior design or related disciplines.
