About the Role

Highbrow Interactive is looking for a creative and passionate Junior Game Designer to join our team in Chennai. This role is ideal for freshers who are passionate about games and want to build a career in mobile game design.

We develop mobile games played by millions of users worldwide and provide an chance to work closely with experienced game designers, artists, and programmers.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist in designing and refining game mechanics and features.

· Play and analyse mobile games to understand mechanics, progression, and player experience.

· Create prototypes and participate in playtesting and iteration.

· Assist with game balancing, progression, and basic game economy.

· Prepare and maintain game design documents.

· Collaborate with programmers, artists, and designers to implement features.

· Research mobile gaming trends and suggest new ideas.

Requirements

· Fresh graduate or currently pursuing a degree in Game Design, Game Development, Computer Science, Psychology, or a related field.

· Strong passion for video games, especially mobile games.





· Basic understanding of game design principles and mechanics.

· Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Strong communication and teamwork skills.

· Willingness to learn, experiment, and take feedback.

· A portfolio, personal game project, or prototype is a plus

Note: A relevant Game Design portfolio is required; 3D and 2D art-only portfolios will not be considered for this role.
