Role Description The Junior Buyer will support purchasing activities for fasteners and related C class parts / components used in automotive and utility vehicle production.

This full-time, on-site role in Bengaluru involves assisting with supplier selection, preparing and processing purchase orders, and maintaining accurate procurement records.

The Junior Buyer will monitor delivery schedules, follow up on order status, and help resolve discrepancies in quantity, quality, or pricing.





The role includes analyzing basic cost data, supporting negotiations with suppliers under guidance, and collaborating with internal teams such as logistics, quality, and engineering to ensure timely and productive supply.

The Junior Buyer will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in the purchasing process and support sustainability-focused sourcing decisions.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess a full-time bachelor's degree in mechanical / automotive / manufacturing Engineering with min 2 years of experience in manufacturing / Automotive tier Industry & possess skills in
- Basic purchasing, order processing, and vendor coordination.
- Data analysis, cost comparison, and use of Excel or similar tools.
- Inventory tracking, material planning support, and documentation management.
- Communication, relationship building with suppliers, and cross-functional teamwork.
- Interest in automotive or mobility sectors and sustainability-focused sourcing is beneficial.
- Ability to work accurately with details, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to learn, adapt to global processes, and use ERP or SAP
