We are looking for a Junior Architect to support the architectural team in planning, designing, drafting, and coordinating residential and commercial construction projects. The candidate will work closely with Senior Architects, Interior Designers, Engineers, and Project Teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Architects in developing architectural concepts and designs.
- Prepare 2D plans, elevations, sections, and working drawings.
- Develop detailed architectural drawings as per project requirements.
- Prepare floor plans, furniture layouts, and basic architectural details.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, interior, and project teams.
- Visit project sites to understand site conditions and monitor design execution.
- Review drawings and ensure they are aligned with approved designs.
- Make necessary modifications based on client and project requirements.
- Assist in preparing presentations, material selections, and design documentation.
- Maintain proper records of drawings and project documents.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors whenever required.
- Ensure drawings are issued accurately and within project timelines.
- Support the team in resolving design and site-related issues.
Required Skills
- AutoCAD
- SketchUp/Revit knowledge is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of architectural planning and construction
- Good understanding of building materials and construction details
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work within deadlines
- Valuable knowledge of MS Office
Eligibility
- Qualification: B.Arch / Diploma in Architecture or related qualification.
- Experience: 0–3 years in architecture or construction.
- Freshers with strong technical skills may also be considered.
- Candidates with residential construction experience will be preferred.
