Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Architect role based in Kochi.

The Junior

Architect will support project teams in developing architectural concepts, preparing design drawings, and producing detailed documentation across various project stages. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with site analysis, coordinating design inputs, preparing presentations, and updating drawings and models in line with feedback from senior team members. The role also involves collaborating with consultants, supporting basic project coordination, and helping ensure that designs align with environmental, contextual, and user-specific requirements.

Architect is expected to engage actively in studio discussions, contribute ideas, and maintain organized project files and documentation.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to translate concepts into clear drawings and models.
- Basic understanding of Integration between design disciplines and building systems, contributing to cohesive project solutions.
- Familiarity with Software Development principles or digital workflows is a plus, especially for parametric tools or custom design scripts.
- Exposure to Project Management practices such as task tracking, timeline awareness, and coordination with team members.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent professional qualification.
- Proficiency in relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, or similar), and basic graphic presentation tools.
- Strong visual communication, technical drawing, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a studio environment, with good communication, openness to feedback, and a proactive learning mindset.
- Interest in environmentally responsive design, local context, and user-centered solutions.
