Roles and Responsibilities :

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including voucher entry, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.

- Assist in preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts for the company's freight forwarding business.

- Perform routine bookkeeping tasks such as journal entries, accounts payable/receivable management, and inventory tracking.

- Provide support to senior accountants on complex accounting issues related to freight forwarding industry.

Job Requirements :

- 1-3 years of experience in an accountancy role with a focus on general accounting or freight forwarding.

- Proficiency in Tally ERP software is essential; knowledge of other accounting packages like Account Assistant is desirable.

- Solid understanding of Indian GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) principles applied to freight forwarding operations.
