We are looking for an experienced Joinery Draftsman / Joinery Detailer to join our Interiors team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed 2D shop drawings and production drawings for custom furniture and interior joinery.

The role requires strong AutoCAD skills and practical knowledge of joinery construction, woodworking, hardware, materials, and interior fit-out. The candidate will coordinate with the design, project, factory, and site teams to ensure drawings are accurate, practical, and suitable for manufacturing and installation.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed 2D shop drawings, working drawings, plans, elevations, sections, and construction details for joinery.
- Prepare production drawings for wardrobes, kitchens, cabinets, doors, wall cladding, storage units, and custom furniture.
- Convert interior design concepts into accurate, production-ready joinery drawings.
- Include dimensions, materials, finishes, hardware, construction details, and installation requirements.
- Coordinate with Interior Designers, Project Managers, Factory Production Teams, and Site Teams.
- Review site measurements and conditions and ensure joinery is practical and buildable.
- Identify fabrication and installation issues before production.




- Detail and specify hinges, drawer systems, handles, channels, tracks, brackets, screws, and other joinery hardware.
- Incorporate design revisions, site changes, and client requirements.
- Coordinate with the factory to ensure drawings are clear and suitable for manufacturing.
- Maintain drawing accuracy, revision control, and timely submission.

Required Skills

- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Experience in Joinery Detailing / Joinery Drafting / Shop Drawings.
- Good knowledge of woodworking, carpentry, and joinery construction.
- Knowledge of furniture and interior fit-out detailing.
- Good understanding of joinery hardware and fittings.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings.
- Understanding of materials, dimensions, tolerances, and constructability.
- Positive coordination and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in interior fit-out, furniture manufacturing, modular furniture, or joinery manufacturing.
- Experience preparing factory production drawings / shop drawings.
- Experience coordinating with factory and site installation teams.
