Open Role : Senior DevOps Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the design, automation, optimization, and scaling of enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure on AWS. The ideal candidate should possess deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes orchestration, CI/CD automation, infrastructure as code, disaster recovery, and cloud transformation initiatives.

This role demands robust hands-on experience in managing large-scale production environments, improving platform reliability, implementing BCP/DR strategies, and driving infrastructure modernization across cloud ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, deploy, and manage highly scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure on AWS
- Build and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred)
- Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Argo CD, Jenkins, and related DevOps tools
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform
- Lead cloud migration and infrastructure modernization initiatives (On-Premise to AWS / Multi-Cloud)
- Implement, validate, and maintain Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies
- Monitor infrastructure, applications, and platform health using cloud-native and third-party monitoring tools
- Ensure infrastructure security, compliance adherence, vulnerability management, and regular patching
- Manage Kubernetes clusters, container lifecycle, image repositories, and upgrade strategies
- Collaborate closely with Development, QA, Security, and Product teams to streamline deployment and release processes
- Troubleshoot critical production issues and ensure high availability and operational excellence
- Drive best practices around automation,

Required Skills & Experience

- 8 to 12 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Cloud Infrastructure roles
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes/EKS environments

Strong Hands-on Expertise In:

- AWS Cloud Services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Route53, Load Balancers, CloudWatch, etc.)
- EKS, Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
- CI/CD implementation using GitHub Actions, Argo CD, Jenkins, or similar tools
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
- Cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, and automation initiatives
- BCP/DR planning, implementation, and testing
- Infrastructure and application monitoring solutions

Database Experience:

- AWS RDS (SQL Server/MySQL/PostgreSQL)
- SQL Server preferred
- PostgreSQL administration and performance tuning experience is an added advantage

Scripting & Automation Skills:

- Bash
- Shell scripting
- Python

Good Understanding Of:

- Networking concepts (DNS, VPN, Load Balancing, Security Groups)
- Security best practices, IAM policies, and compliance standards
- Kubernetes security and governance

Preferred Skills

- Exposure to Microsoft Azure and hybrid/multi-cloud environments
- Experience in Kubernetes security hardening
- Knowledge of AWS cost optimization and governance tools
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and security automation
- Experience handling enterprise-scale production environments

Soft Skills

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to lead critical infrastructure initiatives independently
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, agile, and collaborative environments
