Cloud / Platform Engineer (AWS)

We are seeking an experienced Cloud / Platform Engineer with robust AWS expertise to support the setup, deployment, and operationalization of cloud environments for a large enterprise engagement.

Key Responsibilities

- Provision Development, Test,



and Production AWS environments in accordance with approved architecture standards.
- Configure and manage AWS networking, storage, monitoring, logging, and security components.
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform.
- Design and support CI/CD deployment pipelines to enable automated application deployments.
- Implement observability solutions leveraging CloudWatch, X-Ray, and OpenTelemetry.
- Collaborate with architecture and platform stakeholders to ensure infrastructure aligns with enterprise standards.
- Serve as the primary counterpart during architecture discussions and specification reviews.
- Enable cloud cost visibility and tracking mechanisms, including logging destinations and cost-allocation tagging.
- Support deployment validation, smoke testing, troubleshooting, and environment stability activities.
- Ensure adherence to enterprise cloud governance, operational excellence, and security best practices.

Experience

- 8-12 years of overall IT experience.
- Strong hands-on AWS platform engineering experience in enterprise-scale environments.
- Proven experience in cloud infrastructure provisioning, automation, deployment, and operational support.
