About the Role

We are looking for a Jewellery Merchandiser in Mumbai to support the development of our B2C jewellery collectionsfor the UK market.

Henig Diamonds is planning to grow its direct customer offer, so we need someone who can bring new design ideas, understand customer trends, compare suppliers and help create jewellery that is commercial, modern and well-priced.

This is not an admin role. We need someone creative, organised and commercial, who can help develop products that final customers will want to buy.

Main Responsibilities

1. B2C Product Development

- Find recent jewellery ideas from Indian suppliers.
- Develop designs for direct customers in the UK.
- Suggest stones, metals, settings and price points.
- Help develop both natural and lab-grown diamond jewellery.
- Make sure products are attractive, wearable and commercial.

2. Market and Trend Research

- Research UK B2C jewellery brands and competitors.
- Review popular styles, price points and customer trends.
- Compare natural and lab-grown jewellery prices.
- Identify missing products and new opportunities.
- Share clear product and market feedback with the BtoB UK team.

3. Supplier Sourcing and Pricing

- Find and compare suitable jewellery suppliers.
- Request quotes, CADs, samples, images and videos.
- Compare supplier price, quality and production time.




- Help develop products at the right cost and selling price.
- Flag products that are too expensive or not suitable.

4. CAD, Samples and QC Follow-Up

- Check CADs and samples against the brief.
- Review design, proportions, finish and quality.
- Follow up changes and supplier corrections.
- Work closely with our India QC team.

You do not need to be a CAD designer, but you must be comfortable reading and understanding jewellery CADs. 5. Product Presentation

Prepare clear product proposals for the UK team, including:

- design idea
- images, sketches or CADs
- supplier option
- cost and suggested selling price
- competitor comparison
- target customer
- reason why the product should sell

Skills and Experience We are looking for someone with:

- 3+ years’ experience in jewellery merchandising or product development.
- 3+ years’ experience in diamond jewellery and jewellery manufacturing.
- Good knowledge of natural and lab-grown diamond jewellery.
- Good understanding of B2C jewellery trends.
- Strong commercial sense.
- Excel or Google Sheets skills required.
- Valuable English, speaking and writing.
- Good presentation and organisation skills.
- Confidence to challenge suppliers on price, quality and delivery.
- Ability to work with teams in India and the UK.
- Good European taste in jewellery is mandatory, with the ability to understand modern UK and European B2C styles, not only Indian market designs.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
