JDE Manufacturing Consultant

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced JDE Manufacturing Consultant to support the implementation, configuration, enhancement, and maintenance of Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Manufacturing modules. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to translate manufacturing requirements into effective JDE solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze business requirements related to manufacturing processes and translate them into JDE EnterpriseOne solutions.
- Configure and support JDE Manufacturing modules, including:

- Manufacturing Management

- Shop Floor Management

- Product Data Management

- Work Orders

- Material Requirements Planning (MRP)

- Product Costing

- Engineering Change Management

- Forecasting and Planning
- Conduct requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Support integration between Manufacturing and other JDE modules such as Inventory, Procurement, Sales & Distribution, Finance, and Quality Management.
- Configure manufacturing processes including bills of material, routings, work centers, work orders, production scheduling, and costing.
- Analyze and resolve production issues, system defects, and user-reported problems.
- Prepare functional specifications for technical development and customizations.
- Coordinate with technical teams for reports, interfaces, applications, and enhancements.
- Develop and execute unit, integration, regression, and UAT test scenarios.
- Support data migration, master-data validation, and cutover activities.
- Prepare functional documentation, process flows, training materials, and user guides.




- Provide end-user training and post-go-live support.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and recommend JDE solutions to improve manufacturing efficiency.

Required Skills and Experience

- 5+ years of experience in Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Manufacturing.
- Solid functional knowledge of JDE Manufacturing modules and end-to-end manufacturing processes.
- Hands-on experience with PDM, Shop Floor Management, MRP, Work Orders, and Product Costing.
- Good understanding of discrete and/or process manufacturing environments.
- Experience with JDE Manufacturing integrations with Inventory, Procurement, Sales, and Finance.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing master data, including BOMs, routings, work centers, item master, and branch/plant setup.
- Experience in requirement gathering, functional design, configuration, testing, and production support.
- Ability to prepare functional specifications and work effectively with JDE technical developers.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with JDE EnterpriseOne 9.2 or later.
- Experience with JDE Orchestrator and integrations is an advantage.
- Knowledge of JDE CNC and technical architecture is a plus.
- Experience with ERP implementation, upgrade, or rollout projects.
- Manufacturing industry experience in areas such as automotive, industrial manufacturing, consumer products, or electronics is preferred.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.Role & responsibilities
