Role Description The JD Edwards Functional Consultant will work closely with business stakeholders to analyze requirements, design solutions, and configure JD Edwards modules to support core business processes. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting functional workshops, gathering and documenting requirements, mapping business processes to JD Edwards functionality, and performing system configuration and testing.

The role involves preparing functional specifications, supporting technical teams during development, executing user acceptance testing, and assisting with data migration and cutover activities.



The consultant will provide ongoing post-implementation support, troubleshoot functional issues, and recommend improvements to optimize system usage and performance. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Bengaluru, with a combination of on-site collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications

- Strong functional expertise in JD Edwards ERP modules (such as Finance, Distribution, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain) and experience in end-to-end implementations or upgrades.
- Skills in requirements gathering, business process analysis, solution design, and documentation, with the ability to translate business needs into system configurations.
- Experience in system configuration, testing (unit, integration, and UAT), defect tracking, and support, including issue diagnosis and resolution.
- Knowledge of cross-functional integration between JD Edwards modules and related enterprise systems, with understanding of data flows and dependencies.
- Familiarity with project methodologies (waterfall or agile), change management, and user training, including creating training materials and conducting workshops.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in multicultural, distributed teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; relevant JD Edwards certifications are a plus.
- Prior experience in IT consulting or working with global clients, and exposure to industries such as manufacturing, distribution, or services is beneficial.
