Job Summary

We are looking for an ITI Fitter to support fitting, assembly, maintenance, and machine-related activities in an automotive component and machining manufacturing environment. The candidate should have good knowledge of mechanical tools, measuring instruments, machine components, and basic maintenance practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform fitting, assembly, installation, and dismantling of machine components.
- Handle lathe, drilling, grinding, milling, CNC/VMC and other machining-related equipment as required.
- Read and understand basic engineering drawings and dimensions.
- Use measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge and gauges.
- Perform machine setup, tool changing, alignment, and basic troubleshooting.
- Assist in preventive and breakdown maintenance of production machines.
- Check machine components for proper fitting, alignment, and functioning.
- Carry out deburring, grinding,



filing, drilling, tapping, and other fitting operations.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and workplace in proper condition.
- Follow production, quality, safety, and 5S standards.
- Identify abnormal machine conditions and report issues to the supervisor/maintenance team.
- Maintain basic production and maintenance records.
- Ensure compliance with PPE, safety procedures, and shop-floor standards.

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of fitting and mechanical assembly.
- Basic knowledge of machining processes and machine components.
- Ability to read basic mechanical drawings.
- Knowledge of precision measuring instruments.
- Basic understanding of bearings, shafts, gears, couplings, hydraulic/pneumatic components, etc.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts and on the shop floor.
- Good discipline and ability to work in a team.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
