Responsibilities

- Install, configure, and maintain various operating systems, including Ubuntu and Windows, on desktops, laptops, and servers.

- Diagnose and resolve hardware-related issues, including desktops, laptops, and printers.

- Conduct hardware upgrades and replacements as necessary.

- Maintain an inventory of hardware components and equipment.

- Provide timely technical support to end-users, addressing software and hardware problems.

- Assist with software installation, updates, and troubleshooting.

- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and assist in resolving network-related problems.

- Assist in configuring and maintaining network devices, such as routers and switches.

- Ensure that all IT systems are updated with the latest security patches and antivirus definitions.

- Maintain accurate records of hardware and software inventory.

- Collaborate with other IT team members and departments to resolve complex technical issues.





- Communicate with vendors to resolve hardware and software issues and coordinate equipment repairs or replacements when necessary.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

- This position is open to candidates with a minimum of 6 months of experience in IT support and fresher’s who have completed relevant training from institute.

- Proven experience in installing and maintaining Ubuntu and Windows operating systems.

- Solid troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software issues.

- Familiarity with network configurations and troubleshooting.

- Knowledge of security best practices and virus/malware protection.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and in a team.

- Prior experience in a similar IT support role is preferred.
