Role & responsibilities The IT Manager/Lead will lead and manage CubeLogic's IT infrastructure and operations, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability across on-premises and cloud environments. The role owns IT assets, licensing, and compliance with industry standards, mentors the IT support team, handles audits, and drives technology initiatives aligned with business goals.

Must Have Requirements

- Windows Server administration and Active Directory management

- Hyper-V virtualization and on-premises storage/backup management

- PowerShell scripting for provisioning and automation

- Azure fundamentals including VMs, networking, and IAM/Entra ID (AZ-104 certification)

- Networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and firewall/VPN configuration

- Microsoft 365 administration, licensing, and SharePoint configuration

- ITSM tool experience (Jira Service Management or equivalent) with SLA management and ticket triage

- Security management including firewalls, endpoint protection, and vulnerability assessments

- ITIL framework knowledge and audit handling experience

- Onboarding/offboarding process ownership including endpoint provisioning and access management

- Team leadership experience of 2+ years managing IT support/helpdesk team

- Robust written and verbal communication skills for client-facing and leadership reporting

- 5-8+ years IT infrastructure/support experience with hands-on production experience

Key Responsibilities & Outcomes

- Administer Windows Server environments and manage Hyper-V virtualization

- Manage on-premises physical storage and backup strategies

- Implement and maintain SharePoint and collaboration platforms

- Administer Azure services including VMs, networking, and IAM/Entra ID

- Manage Microsoft 365 licenses, configuration, and compliance

- Plan and track application licenses across the organization

- Implement security management practices including firewalls, endpoint protection, and vulnerability assessments

- Handle internal and external audits and ensure compliance with ITIL, SOC2, and ISO27001/ISMS standards

- Run recurring compliance operations including patch/AV compliance, firewall backups, and privileged access audits

- Apply ITIL best practices for incident, change, and problem management

- Own IT Support ticket queue (Jira Service Management) with SLA management and escalation

- Oversee desktop support and end-user issue resolution

- Manage onboarding/offboarding processes including laptop provisioning and access grant/revoke

- Manage IT asset lifecycle and maintain accurate inventory

- Administer Identity and Access Management systems

- Lead and mentor IT team members

- Allocate resources and manage workload and shift coverage

- Foster collaboration and continuous improvement

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide regular leadership updates

- Coordinate with vendors for procurement, support, and managed NOC/SOC services

- Plan and execute IT projects within timelines and budgets
