About the Role

Own the procurement and operational performance of the IT asset lifecycle across laptops, peripherals and related technology. You will shape sourcing standards, supplier outcomes and forecasting accuracy so teams receive fit-for-purpose equipment at the right time, cost and service level. The role combines commercial judgment with hands-on operational control, from hardware leasing and reseller or OEM engagement through configuration governance, global SKU development and lifecycle visibility.

You will use ServiceNow, Excel and AI productivity tools to create reliable data, simplify decisions and strengthen controls. Success means predictable supply, well-managed suppliers, technically appropriate configurations, lower operational friction and an IT asset program that scales consistently across locations and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end IT procurement for laptops, peripherals and related assets, converting business demand into timely sourcing decisions that protect availability, technical suitability and operational continuity.
- Manage reseller and OEM relationships through structured reviews, commercial governance and issue resolution, improving supplier accountability, service quality and value across the technology estate.
- Lead hardware leasing and purchasing operations, coordinating requirements, renewals and lifecycle events so assets remain financially controlled, fit for purpose and aligned with workforce demand.




- Build forecasting models and demand views in Excel, translating usage, growth and replacement signals into accurate procurement plans that reduce shortages, excess inventory and avoidable expedite costs.
- Develop and maintain global SKUs, laptop configurations and technical specifications, creating consistent standards that improve user experience, deployment efficiency and supportability across markets.
- Maintain accurate procurement and asset workflows in ServiceNow, strengthening data quality, traceability and management visibility across requisitions, suppliers, equipment and lifecycle status.
- Apply AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot to accelerate analysis, documentation and decision support while maintaining appropriate judgment, controls and confidentiality.

Essential Skills & Technologies

- Demonstrated IT procurement experience covering laptops, peripherals, hardware leasing and technology sourcing, with the commercial judgment to balance cost, quality, availability and business requirements.
- Strong reseller and OEM engagement capabilities, including supplier management, negotiations, performance reviews and escalation handling that produce dependable service and measurable procurement outcomes.
- Practical expertise in laptop configurations, technical specifications and global SKU development, with the ability to translate technical standards into scalable purchasing and operating models.
- Advanced Excel capability for forecasting, data analysis, scenario planning and reporting, enabling accurate demand visibility and disciplined procurement decisions.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow workflows or IT asset management processes, maintaining reliable records, controls and lifecycle visibility across distributed technology environments.
- Effective use of AI productivity tools, including Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot, to improve research, analysis, documentation and operational efficiency without compromising data governance.

Additional Plus

- Experience supporting global or multi-location IT procurement programs with varied supply markets, stakeholder needs and regional fulfillment constraints.
- Familiarity with IT asset lifecycle governance, inventory controls, lease renewals, logistics coordination or deployment operations in a growing professional services environment.
- Exposure to procurement analytics, supplier risk management, contract administration or process automation that improves transparency, scalability and business control.

- You bring six to ten years of experience in IT procurement, IT asset management, technology operations or a closely related discipline,

- You are comfortable working hands-on in Excel and ServiceNow, turning incomplete demand signals into clear forecasts, accurate records, actionable reporting and decisions that stakeholders can trust.
- You bring structured stakeholder management across IT, finance, vendors, resellers and OEMs, communicating clearly, challenging assumptions constructively and driving issues to resolution.
- You use AI tools thoughtfully to improve speed and quality, while applying sound judgment around confidentiality, accuracy, governance and the business consequences of automated outputs.
- You operate with ownership, objectivity and urgency in a fast-paced environment, staying focused on measurable outcomes rather than activity volume or process for its own sake.
