Roles and Responsibilities :

- Assign accurate medical codes to patient records using CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS codes.

- Review and analyze medical documentation to determine the most appropriate code assignment.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and industry standards for coding accuracy.

- Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve any discrepancies or questions related to coding.

Job Requirements :

- 5-10 years of experience in IPDRG (International Provider Data Record Group) medical coding.

- Solid knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.

- Proficiency in CDI (Clinical Documentation Improvement) software or similar tools.
