:
We are looking for experienced IP DRG Coders with strong knowledge in inpatient coding and DRG assignment. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in reviewing medical records, assigning ICD codes, and ensuring compliance with coding guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate coding for inpatient records
- Assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and DRG codes
- Ensure compliance with coding standards and regulatory requirements
- Review clinical documentation for completeness and accuracy
- Work closely with QA teams and auditors
- Maintain productivity and quality benchmarks
Required Skills:
- Solid knowledge of DRG coding (IP)
- Good understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Familiarity with coding guidelines and payer requirements
- Experience in coding tools/software
- Good analytical and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification: CCS / CIC / CPC (preferred)
- Experience in US Healthcare coding
