Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Inventory Controller with 5+ years of relevant experience in inventory management, stores, material control, and stock reconciliation, preferably from the Plastic Injection Moulding / Plastic Manufacturing industry.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of raw material, WIP, finished goods, consumables, packaging materials, and spare parts inventory, along with excellent coordination, analytical, and ERP skills.

Candidates with prior experience in Plastic Injection Moulding / Plastic Manufacturing will be strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and control day-to-day inventory and stores operations.
- Maintain accurate records of raw materials, WIP, finished goods, consumables, packaging materials, and spare parts.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure minimum/maximum stock levels are maintained.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Stores, Quality, Dispatch, and Accounts departments.
- Track material receipts, issues, transfers, returns, and adjustments.
- Ensure timely availability of materials for plastic injection moulding production.
- Monitor material consumption against production requirements.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and cycle counts.
- Reconcile physical stock with ERP/system stock and investigate discrepancies.
- Identify slow-moving, non-moving, excess, and obsolete inventory.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Monitor FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable.
- Ensure proper identification, labeling, storage, and location of materials.
- Maintain proper documentation for GRN, Material Issue, Material Return, Stock Transfer, and other inventory transactions.
- Coordinate with Purchase for pending materials and expected delivery schedules.




- Monitor inventory accuracy and take corrective action for stock variances.
- Support inventory audits and provide required reports/documents.
- Develop and implement processes to reduce inventory losses, wastage, and material shortages.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of plastic raw materials, masterbatch, additives, moulding consumables, and packaging materials.
- Maintain inventory data and reports using ERP and MS Excel.
- Prepare and present inventory-related MIS reports to management.

Required Skills

- 5+ years of experience in Inventory Control / Stores / Material Management – Mandatory
- Experience in Plastic Injection Moulding / Plastic Manufacturing – Highly Preferred
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and stock control.
- Good knowledge of ERP systems and MS Excel.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent coordination and follow-up skills.
- Good understanding of stock reconciliation and physical verification.
- Knowledge of FIFO/FEFO and inventory control techniques.
- Ability to identify and control stock discrepancies.
- Solid documentation and reporting skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple activities and work under pressure.

Qualification & Eligibility

- Qualification: Graduate / Diploma in any relevant discipline.
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in Inventory / Stores / Material Management.
- Industry Preference: Candidates with experience in Plastic Injection Moulding / Plastic Manufacturing will be given strong preference.
- Candidates should have hands-on experience with ERP-based inventory management.
- Candidates should have valuable knowledge of MS Excel, stock reconciliation, and inventory reporting.
