Inventory Analyst

We are looking for an analytical and detail-oriented Inventory Analyst to manage and monitor inventory flow for our Pan India retail stores from Chandigarh.

The role involves monitoring stock movement, analyzing inventory performance, validating invoice bookings, investigating stock discrepancies, and identifying opportunities to improve inventory processes and reduce shrinkage.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor daily stock movement between warehouses, transit, and retail stores.
- Analyze inventory workflows and identify bottlenecks or process gaps.
- Review weekly and monthly inventory reports to identify slow-moving, aging, and discrepant stock.
- Reconcile physical stock receipts with supplier invoice bookings to ensure billing accuracy.
- Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits to investigate stock variances.
- Identify inventory trends, data anomalies, and mathematical mismatches.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Support initiatives aimed at reducing inventory shrinkage.





Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Logistics, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of core inventory handling experience, preferably in a retail environment.
- Strong knowledge of Advanced Excel, including:

- VLOOKUP

- Pivot Tables

- Data analysis
- Experience working with retail ERP systems such as LOGIC, Tally, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Ability to identify trends, discrepancies, and data anomalies quickly.
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly while matching vendor invoices with purchase orders.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Retail inventory experience is highly preferred.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Comfortable working with large volumes of inventory and transactional data.
- Valuable understanding of stock movement, reconciliation, and inventory controls.
- Ability to coordinate with warehouses, stores, vendors, and internal teams.
