Role Description This full time on-site role is based at Renee Hospital in Karimnagar and focuses on providing comprehensive interventional cardiology care.
The Interventional
Cardiologist will perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the cath lab, including coronary angiography, angioplasty, and stenting, in line with current clinical guidelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing patients, planning and executing interventional procedures, managing pre- and post-procedure care, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams for optimal outcomes. The role also involves participating in case discussions, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, supporting quality improvement initiatives,
and contributing to patient and family education regarding cardiovascular health and treatment options.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Medicine, with recognized medical degree and appropriate licensure/registration to practice.
- Clinical expertise in Cardiology, including evaluation and management of acute and chronic cardiac conditions.
- Hands-on experience in Cath Lab procedures, including familiarity with cath lab protocols, equipment, and safety standards.
- Advanced skills in Interventional and Interventional Cardiology techniques for coronary and peripheral interventions.
- Completion of residency and fellowship training in Cardiology / Interventional Cardiology from accredited institutions.
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams, with strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous learning, and adherence to ethical and regulatory standards.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and clinical staff; proficiency in local languages is an advantage.
