Job Summary:

We are seeking an Internal Auditor to independently conduct internal audits, evaluate institutional controls, assess risks, and ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and statutory requirements. The candidate will be responsible for identifying control gaps, analyzing financial and operational processes, preparing audit reports, and providing practical recommendations to strengthen internal controls and improve operational efficiency across the institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

· Plan and conduct internal audits, compliance reviews, risk assessments, and special audit assignments in accordance with the approved audit plan.

· Independently review financial, operational, administrative, and institutional records to assess accuracy, completeness, compliance, and identify discrepancies or irregularities.

· Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, policies, procedures, and systems and identify control gaps, weaknesses, and areas of risk.

· Review accounting records, budgets, expenditures, transactions, and supporting documents to assess financial discipline and identify potential financial risks.

· Conduct statutory and regulatory compliance reviews covering all applicable legal and regulatory requirements, along with institutional policies and procedures.





· Assess audit findings and associated risks and provide practical recommendations for corrective and preventive actions to strengthen controls and processes.

· Prepare clear and timely audit reports and present significant findings, risks, and recommendations to Management.

· Monitor and follow up on audit recommendations and coordinate with departments to ensure corrective actions are implemented within agreed timelines.

· Maintain complete audit working papers, audit evidence, supporting documents, reports, and records while ensuring strict confidentiality of financial, operational, employee, and institutional information.

· Stay updated on statutory regulations, accounting practices, audit standards, and compliance requirements, and perform other audit, investigation, compliance, and risk-related assignments entrusted by Management

Desired Candidate Qualification

· Bachelor’s degree in B.Com, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

· 3–7 years of relevant experience in internal audit, statutory compliance, accounts, finance, risk management, or related functions,



with experience in independently conducting audits and preparing audit reports preferred.

· Strong knowledge of internal audit, internal controls, risk assessment, financial analysis, accounting practices, budgeting, transaction verification, and compliance processes.

· In-depth knowledge of applicable statutory, regulatory, and institutional compliance requirements, including relevant laws, regulations, filings, and reporting obligations.

· Ability to identify financial, operational, and compliance risks and recommend appropriate corrective actions.

· Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel, for data analysis, audit documentation, and reporting.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, report-writing, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with different departments and levels of Management.

· High level of integrity, professional ethics, attention to detail, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.

· Qualified certifications such as CIA, CPA, CA, CMA, CISA, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
