Role Description The Interior Stylist will work on-site at Cedar Home Store in Aluva in a full-time capacity, collaborating closely with customers to understand their aesthetic preferences, functional needs, and budget. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating interior concepts and mood boards, selecting furniture and décor pieces from the store’s collections, and arranging in-store displays to showcase styling ideas.

The role involves conducting client consultations, providing design guidance, and preparing layout suggestions for residential and commercial spaces.

The Interior

Stylist will coordinate with the sales team, product designers,



and warehouse staff to ensure timely delivery and installation of selected items. Additional tasks include staying current with interior design trends, maintaining a visually appealing showroom, and contributing to visual merchandising and promotional styling projects.

Qualifications

- Interior styling and spatial planning skills, with the ability to create cohesive design concepts and functional layouts.
- Strong visual merchandising and showroom presentation skills to curate appealing in-store displays.
- Proficiency in basic design tools or software (e.g., SketchUp, AutoCAD, or similar) and mood board creation.
- Customer consultation, active listening, and relationship-building skills to understand and translate client needs into design solutions.
- Knowledge of furniture materials, finishes, and current interior design trends, particularly in residential and commercial spaces.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work with sales, design, and warehouse teams.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple styling projects and client requests.
- Prior experience in interior design, visual merchandising, or a related field; a relevant diploma or degree in interior design or a similar discipline is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Aluva, including weekends or retail peak hours as needed.
