Position: Interior Works Engineer / Site Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Interior Works Engineer to manage and supervise the execution of interior fit-out projects. The candidate will be responsible for site execution, contractor and vendor coordination, quality control, material management, and ensuring that interior works are completed as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines. These responsibilities are commonly expected in interior fit-out site engineering roles.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage day-to-day interior fit-out works at project sites.
- Ensure execution is carried out as per approved architectural, interior, and GFC drawings.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Architects, Interior Designers, Consultants, Contractors, Vendors, and Subcontractors.
- Monitor site progress and ensure activities are completed within the planned schedule.
- Supervise and coordinate:
- Civil and finishing works
- False ceiling
- Gypsum and glass partitions
- Flooring and tiling
- Painting and wall finishes
- Carpentry and joinery
- Modular furniture
- Doors and hardware
- Electrical works
- Plumbing and other MEP coordination
- Check site measurements and ensure proper execution according to drawings and specifications.
- Review drawings and identify discrepancies or technical issues before execution.
- Coordinate manpower and subcontractors at the site.
- Monitor material requirements, deliveries, usage, and wastage.




- Check the quality and quantity of materials received at site.
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure quality standards and finishing requirements are maintained.
- Identify and resolve technical and site execution issues.
- Prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPR), weekly reports, site measurements, and project updates.
- Monitor work progress against project schedules and highlight potential delays.
- Coordinate with the planning team to achieve project milestones.
- Verify contractor/subcontractor measurements and support billing activities.
- Maintain proper records of drawings, approvals, measurements, material records, and site documentation.
- Ensure compliance with site safety standards and company procedures.
- Attend site meetings and coordinate with clients and consultants.
- Conduct snagging inspections and ensure timely rectification of defects.
- Support final inspection, handover, and project closure activities.

Qualification

- B.E / B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Candidates with hands-on experience in commercial, corporate, residential, hospitality, retail, or turnkey interior projects will be preferred.

Technical Skills





- Strong knowledge of interior fit-out execution and construction methods.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, interior, and MEP drawings.
- Valuable knowledge of interior materials, finishes, and installation methods.
- Knowledge of BOQ, measurements, material requirements, and basic billing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel.
- Knowledge of project schedules and progress tracking.
- Understanding of quality control and site safety practices.

Preferred Candidate Ideal candidate: A Civil / Interior / Architecture professional with hands-on experience in Interior Fit-Out projects, capable of independently handling site execution, contractor coordination, material management, quality control, measurements, documentation, and project handover.

Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
