Position Summary

Enchanted Spaces is seeking a creative, technically proficient, and client-focused Interior Designer to lead residential and commercial design projects from initial concept through final execution. In this role, you will manage spatial layouts, direct custom furniture and joinery detailing and collaborate closely with contractors, artisans, and clients.

The ideal candidate combines exceptional aesthetic vision with rigorous technical expertise in drafting, material specifications, and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Concept & Design Development: Lead the creation of comprehensive design schemes, mood boards, 3D renderings, and spatial floor plans tailored to client briefs.
- Technical Drafting & Documentation: Draft detailed architectural drawing, including floor plans, elevations, section drawings, reflected ceiling plans (RCP), and joinery details using AutoCAD and SketchUp.
- Material & Joinery Specification: Select and specify finishes, hardware, and woodwork's including solid woods, plywood's, laminates with precise detailing.




- Project Management & Execution: Coordinate with civil teams, carpenters, electricians, and vendors to monitor timelines, manage budgets, and ensure uncompromising quality control on site.
- Client Stewardship: Lead client presentations, manage expectations through structured feedback loops, and guide stakeholders from initial consultation to final staging.

Qualifications & Skills

- Education: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Interior Design or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional interior design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing executed residential and commercial projects.
- Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp; familiarity with rendering engines (e.g., V-Ray, Enscape) is a robust plus.
- Deep Technical Knowledge: Thorough understanding of construction standards, joinery techniques, lighting design.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of managing vendors and site execution teams independently.
