Role Description As an Interior Designer with Self-Employed and Freelancing, you will work full time on-site in Bhiwandi, collaborating directly with clients to understand their functional needs, aesthetic preferences, and budget constraints. You will develop design concepts, layouts, and mood boards, select materials, finishes, and furnishings, and prepare sketches or digital renderings to communicate your ideas. Daily activities include site visits, measurements, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and overseeing installation and execution to ensure designs are implemented as planned.

You will manage project timelines and costs, maintain clear documentation, and provide regular updates to clients throughout each project.



The role requires consistent client interaction, problem-solving in office, and adapting designs to meet local conditions and practical constraints.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in space planning, concept development, and interior design detailing.
- Ability to create sketches, mood boards, and basic 2D/3D visualizations using design tools or software.
- Knowledge of materials, finishes, furnishings, and current interior design trends appropriate to residential and commercial spaces.
- Experience coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and vendors, and managing on-site work and installation.
- Excellent client-facing communication skills, with the ability to translate client needs into practical design solutions.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and willingness to adapt designs to budget and site constraints.
- Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred; relevant portfolio demonstrating completed projects is required.
- Comfort working independently in an entrepreneurial environment and taking ownership of project outcomes.
- Familiarity with local building practices and basic understanding of safety and regulatory considerations for interiors.
