Position: Interior Designer / Engineer – Site

Roles & Responsibilities

- Coordinate and supervise interior fit-out works at site as per approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
- Review GFC drawings, shop drawings, material samples, mock-ups and technical submittals.
- Coordinate with Architects, Interior Designers, MEP Consultants, Contractors and Vendors.
- Ensure execution of false ceiling, flooring, wall finishes, partitions, joinery, doors, furniture, painting and other interior works as per approved details.
- Check site measurements and coordinate with contractors for setting-out and execution.
- Review and resolve site-related design and technical issues in coordination with the design team.
- Monitor quality of workmanship and ensure compliance with approved materials and specifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections and raise observations/IRs for non-compliant works.
- Monitor progress of interior works against the approved project schedule and milestones.
- Coordinate with MEP teams to ensure proper integration of lighting, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm and ELV services with interior works.
- Review BOQs, quantity requirements, material consumption and variation claims.
- Coordinate material procurement, delivery and installation with contractors/vendors.




- Review and approve material samples, mock-ups and finishes in coordination with the Client/Consultant.
- Attend site coordination meetings and provide regular progress updates.
- Monitor snagging, rectification and final handover of interior works.
- Review as-built drawings, O&M; documents and handover documentation.
- Ensure compliance with project quality, safety and statutory requirements.

Key Skills
- Strong knowledge of interior fit-out and finishing works.
- Good understanding of architectural and interior detailing.
- Ability to read and interpret GFC, shop and construction drawings.
- Good knowledge of materials, finishes, joinery and furniture works.
- Strong coordination skills with contractors, consultants and site teams.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit / SketchUp / other interior design software will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of BOQ, quantity checking and project specifications.
- Solid communication and site management skills.

Qualification B.Arch / B.Des / B.E. / Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture or Civil Engineering.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
