Company Description NYKS Interior Design Studio creates designer spaces with integrated Building Information Modeling (BIM), resolving architecture, interiors, services, lighting, and landscape in one coordinated model before construction begins. Founded by designers Nishtha Kandoi and Yashvardhan Singh, the studio focuses on people-centered design, shaping spaces around the routines, habits, and emotional needs of the individuals who live or work there. Projects are crafted to feel calm, serene, and homely, reflecting a life well lived and well travelled.

NYKS works as a turnkey studio, staying accountable from concept through execution and coordinating specialized consultants within a single BIM model to ensure precise detailing and avoid on-site conflicts. The studio commissions Indian craft from skilled artisans and delivers residences, workspaces, hospitality, retail, and institutional projects across major Indian cities and international locations such as Dubai, Bangkok, Bali, Singapore, London, and New York.

Role Description The Interior Designer will work full time on site in the Greater Jaipur Area, collaborating closely with the design team to develop human-centered interior concepts aligned with NYKS’ BIM-integrated approach. Day-to-day responsibilities include space planning, preparing detailed interior drawings, coordinating with architects, consultants, and contractors, and participating in design reviews to ensure design intent is maintained through execution. The role involves selecting materials,



finishes, and FF&E;, integrating Indian craft and contemporary detailing, and supporting the creation of 3D models and coordinated construction documentation.

The Interior

Designer will also assist with site visits, quality checks, and client presentations, maintaining clear communication and accountability from design through completion.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust skills in Interior Design and Space Planning, with a focus on user-centered and functional layouts.
- Candidates should possess skills in Architecture and Construction Drawings, including the ability to read, develop, and coordinate detailed technical documentation.
- Candidates should possess skills in FF&E; selection and coordination, including materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment that align with project vision and budget.
- Proficiency with design and BIM-related software (such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools) is highly beneficial.
- A degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred, along with demonstrated project experience in residential, hospitality, or workspace interiors.
- Strong visual, written, and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams are essential.
- Experience working with craftspeople, vendors, and site teams, and familiarity with Indian materials and finishes, will be an advantage.
