About Mayah

Mayah is a premium cabinetry and door brand, part of a diversified interiors and manufacturing group. We design and deliver high-quality modular cabinetry and door solutions to architects, interior designers, dealers, and direct clients across our markets.

Role Overview The Interior Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate, competitive, and timely cost estimates for cabinetry, doors, and related interior fit-out projects. This role bridges design intent, production capability, and commercial viability — ensuring every quotation reflects true material, labor, and overhead costs while protecting margins.

Key Responsibilities

- Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed estimates for cabinetry, doors, and interior projects based on drawings, BOQs, and design specifications — covering materials, hardware, finishes, labor, and installation.
- BOQ & Takeoffs: Review architectural/interior drawings (2D/3D) to generate accurate quantity takeoffs and bills of quantities.
- Vendor & Material Pricing: Maintain up-to-date pricing data for materials, hardware, and finishes; liaise with suppliers and production teams to validate costs.
- Quotation Preparation: Convert estimates into client-ready quotations and proposals, in coordination with the sales team, ensuring consistency with pricing guidelines and margin targets.
- Value Engineering: Identify cost-saving alternatives in materials or design without compromising quality, and present options to design/sales teams.
- Coordination with Design & Production: Work closely with design teams (including Aixperia's design-to-production workflows where applicable)

and production/manufacturing to ensure estimates are technically feasible and production-ready.
- Revisions & Change Orders: Update estimates as designs evolve or client change requests come in, maintaining clear version control and audit trail.
- Tender/RFQ Support: Support preparation of bids and responses to RFQs from architects, contractors, or institutional clients.
- Reporting: Track estimate-to-actual cost variances on completed projects and feed learnings back into future pricing accuracy.

Requirements

- Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Civil/Architectural Engineering, or related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in estimation/costing, preferably in interiors, modular furniture, cabinetry, or joinery/millwork.
- Strong understanding of cabinetry construction methods, materials (laminates, veneers, solid surfaces, hardware systems), and finishes.
- Proficiency in reading architectural/interior drawings and BOQs.
- Working knowledge of estimation and design software (AutoCAD, and/or parametric/CAM tools common in modular cabinetry workflows).
- Robust numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills to coordinate across design, sales, and production teams.

Preferred Attributes
- Familiarity with cloud-based design-to-production platforms like Aixperia or Coohom, is a plus.
- Prior experience estimating for premium/luxury interior brands.
- Ability to work under project timelines with multiple concurrent estimates.

What We Offer
- Competitive compensation aligned with experience.
- Opportunity to work closely with design and production teams in a fast-growing premium interiors group.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
