Role Description This is a full time, on-site role based in Delhi, India for an Insurance Surveyor & Loss Assessor – Engineering / Fire / Miscellaneous. The role involves conducting detailed on-site surveys and inspections related to engineering, fire, and miscellaneous insurance claims, documenting the nature, extent, and cause of loss.

The individual will analyze policy coverage, verify claim details, gather evidence, and prepare structured preliminary and final loss assessment reports in line with regulatory and company standards.



Daily activities include coordinating with insured parties, insurers, and other stakeholders, assessing risk and damage, estimating repair or replacement costs, and recommending fair settlement amounts. The role also requires adherence to health and safety standards during site visits, maintaining accurate records, and meeting strict timelines for attending survey calls and submitting reports.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Health & Safety and Fire Safety skills for conducting safe and compliant on-site surveys.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills for evaluating losses, interpreting technical data, and estimating claim values.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for interacting with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders and drafting clear reports.
- Candidates should possess relevant Legionella awareness or knowledge for assessing related risks in applicable premises.
- Degree or diploma in engineering, risk management, insurance, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Experience in insurance surveying, loss assessment, or claims management, particularly in engineering or fire-related domains, is an advantage.
- Strong report writing skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with relevant regulations and industry standards are beneficial.
- Ability to work independently on-site, manage multiple assignments, and meet time-sensitive deadlines.
