Insurance Pricing Data Scientist 4+ Years – Gurugram

Summary –

We are looking for an Insurance Pricing Data Scientist with strong experience in P&C;/General Insurance, insurance pricing, and hands-on expertise in Python and SQL. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical and analytical mindset, with experience working on pricing models, insurance data, risk analytics, or actuarial analytics.

This is a new Earnix role. Prior experience with Earnix is not mandatory, as selected candidates will receive training on the Earnix platform. Candidates with strong insurance pricing fundamentals and technical capabilities are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities -

1. Develop, analyze, and support insurance pricing models using statistical, actuarial, and data science techniques.
2. Work extensively with Python and SQL for data extraction, cleansing, analysis, modelling, and automation.
3. Analyze P&C; insurance data to identify risk factors, pricing trends, portfolio insights, and business opportunities.
4. Collaborate with actuarial, analytics, technology, and business teams to translate pricing requirements into analytical solutions.
5. Learn and work on the Earnix pricing platform through structured training and apply the platform to insurance pricing use cases.

Requirements -

1. Experience as a Data Scientist, Pricing Analyst, Actuarial Analyst, or similar role within the insurance domain.
2. Strong hands-on expertise in Python and SQL is mandatory.
3. Strong understanding of P&C; / General Insurance, preferably with experience in insurance pricing.
4. Exposure to pricing models, statistical modelling, risk modelling, GLM, actuarial analytics,



or portfolio analytics will be preferred.
5. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
