- Building end-to-end infrastructure designs, including LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Cloud, Security, Routing, Data & Traffic Flows
- Own design decisions
- Producing HLDs and LLDs independently.
- Working directly with engineering teams during implementation.
- Resolving network, identity, security and cloud-related issues.
- Supporting architecture governance reviews.
- Leading cutover and hypercare activities.
- Acting as the single accountable infrastructure owner for the programme.
Architecture & Design
- Produce solution designs in accordance with Client architecture standards and governance processes.
- Create and maintain:
- High-Level Designs (HLDs)
- Low-Level Designs (LLDs)
- Infrastructure Design Documents
- Network Design Documents
- Security Design Artefacts
- Operational Readiness Documentation
- Ensure all solutions align with:
- Haleon Enterprise Architecture Principles
- Security Standards
- Infrastructure Standards
- Operational Support Requirements
- Disaster Recovery Requirements
- Present designs at architecture review and governance forums.
Implementation Leadership
- Work with engineering teams to convert approved designs into implemented solutions and implement where necessary.
- Support infrastructure build activities.
- Validate technical implementation against approved designs.
- Resolve implementation issues and design deviations.
- Coordinate technical dependencies across multiple delivery teams.
- Review implementation evidence and sign off completed infrastructure components.
Go-Live, Cutover and Hypercare
- Define infrastructure readiness criteria.
- Review implementation completeness before go-live.
- Support UAT and production cutover activities.
- Lead technical triage of infrastructure issues.
- Coordinate war-room activities during critical deployment windows.
- Support post go-live hypercare and service transition.
