IT Manager

Location: Noida, India

Salute is standing up follow-the-sun IT support out of Noida, and this role runs it. This is first and foremost a people management role, but this is a player-coach position: the right candidate leads and manages the on-the-ground team directly, including HR matters like performance, coaching, and day-to-day supervision, and also steps in to execute technical work as needed. Broad IT knowledge across multiple domains is required to be credible with the team and to partner with Salute IT leads.

Leadership and people management come first, but the ability to roll up sleeves and deliver technical work is essential.

Responsibilities

- Directly manage and supervise all IBEX-based staff in Noida supporting Salute, including performance management, coaching, scheduling, and day-to-day HR matters.
- Own hiring coordination with IBEX HR and onboarding of new team members into the Salute account.
- Partner with Salute IT leads (Core IT, Enterprise Systems, Security, Data & Analytics) to confirm each team member's work meets Salute's standards.
- Step in to execute technical work when needed to unblock the team, meet deadlines,



or handle escalations.
- Own escalations and coordinate coverage for follow-the-sun support across time zones.
- Report on ticket volume, SLAs, and team performance to Salute leadership.
- Coordinate schedules and staffing to maintain 24x7 coverage.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a people manager and leader, with direct HR management responsibility for a technical team.
- Broad IT background across multiple domains: service desk, infrastructure, systems administration, or similar.
- Strong process excellence and project/program management (PMO) skills: experience defining workflows, improving processes, and managing cross-functional initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to be a player-coach: comfortable stepping in to execute technical work and lead by example, not just delegate.
- Experience managing an outsourced, BPO, or client-account-based team in India.
- Robust written and spoken English.
- Comfortable partnering with a distributed, US-based client leadership team.
