About the role
Influencer marketing at Solara Home is not a "send free product and hope" function. It is a channel with a budget, a pipeline, a conversion rate and a P&L; line — and we want one person to own all of it end to end. You will find creators, pitch them, negotiate barter and paid deals, get the content shot and live, and then prove what it did for the business.
The job is equal parts relationship-building and spreadsheet discipline. If you enjoy talking to people all morning and reconciling numbers all afternoon, this role will fit you well. This is an in-office role in Hyderabad because so much of the work is physical and collaborative — product pulls for seeding, sample shoots, briefing sessions, and same-day problem-solving when a creator goes quiet the day before a launch.
What you'll own
- Sourcing and outreach Build and maintain a live pipeline of creators across home, interiors, lifestyle, and homemaker/family content — nano and micro tiers included, not just the obvious names. Run outbound at volume: DMs, email, WhatsApp, agency contacts. Personalized enough to get replies, systematic enough to be repeatable. Vet before you pitch — audience geography, engagement quality, past brand collaborations, comment sentiment, and whether their aesthetic actually matches ours. Keep a clean CRM of every creator: status, rate card, past performance, and reason for pass or drop.
- Closing deals — barter and paid Negotiate and close both barter/gifting collaborations and paid partnerships, and know which lever to pull for which creator. Own commercials: rate benchmarking, deliverable counts, usage rights, exclusivity windows, and reshoot terms. Draft and get simple contracts signed; coordinate with finance on invoices, TDS, and payouts so nothing slips. Manage product seeding logistics — dispatch,
tracking, replacements — with our ops team.
- Getting content made and live Write briefs that give creators a clear hook, the non-negotiables, and enough room to sound like themselves. Drive the shoot-to-live timeline: scripts, review rounds, revisions, approvals, posting dates. Coordinate and support live sessions and live-commerce formats — run of show, product list, offer codes, moderation. Collect, catalogue, and route usable creator content into our paid social, website, and CRM channels so one shoot works in five places.
- Measuring impact Give every collaboration a unique discount code and UTM before it goes live — no exceptions. Track reach, saves, shares, watch time, click-through, orders, revenue, and blended CAC per creator and per tier. Triangulate across platform data, store analytics, attribution tooling, and post-purchase survey responses, rather than trusting a single number. Report weekly on spend versus contribution, and maintain a running view of cost per acquired customer through the channel.
- Planning for uncertainty : Creator marketing is unpredictable by nature. Creators ghost, posts get delayed, a video that should have worked does nothing, and occasionally a barter reel outperforms a paid campaign by 20x. We are hiring someone who plans for that instead of being surprised by it.
Forecast in ranges, not single numbers — expected, downside, and upside cases for every campaign.
Overbuild the pipeline deliberately, assuming a known drop-off rate between outreach, agreement, and actually going live. Keep a bench of backup creators and a buffer in both budget and calendar for every launch.
Cap downside on unproven bets: start small, set a spend ceiling, and define in advance what "this isn't working" looks like. Flag risks early and in writing. Surprises are expensive; early warnings are cheap.
- Closing the loop Run a post-mortem on every campaign: what we predicted, what happened, and why the gap existed. Feed those findings straight back into the next brief, the next rate negotiation, and the next creator shortlist. Maintain a living playbook of what works — hooks, formats, offers, creator archetypes, posting times — so the learning stays with the company, not just in your head. Decide, explicitly, whether to re-sign, renegotiate, or drop each creator. No relationship should drift by default.
What we're looking for
1–3 years in influencer marketing, creator partnerships, social media, or D2C growth. Solid internship and freelance track records count.
Demonstrated experience closing deals — you have negotiated rates and can talk through a deal you improved. Comfort with numbers: spreadsheets, basic attribution logic, and the ability to tell a real result from a vanity metric.
Sharp written communication in English; conversational Hindi and/or Telugu is a strong plus for creator conversations.
Native fluency in Instagram and YouTube. You should already have opinions about what is working on the platform this month.
High follow-through. This role has many small open threads at once, and the person who closes them wins.
