We are currently hiring a Industrial Engineer / Draftsman to join our client's team in Chennai.

Responsibilities:

- Analyse customer requirements based on the client’s order.
- Create 3D models of equipment and mechanical drawings.
- Develop new concepts and improve existing equipment.
- Launch manufacturing orders in the ERP system.
- Perform manufacturing validations and follow up on production.
- Modify and correct technical drawings.
- Research technical information and specifications.
- Document projects, including:

o Technical drawings o Assembly instructions o Option specifications
- Participate in project and work-method standardization,



continuous improvement, and improving department efficiency.

Requirements:

- Vocational diploma (DEP) in Industrial Drafting, College Certificate (AEC) in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Proficiency with SolidWorks.
- Knowledge of:

o General Metal Fabrication activity o Welded/bolted structures o Sheet metal fabrication o Machining
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to summarize and explain technical information clearly.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, including remotely.
- Robust command of English & French (added value).
- Organized, methodical, detail-oriented, and attentive.
