JOB SPECIFICATION

Education:

B.E / B.Tech in Industrial Engineering / Mechanical / Production Engineering - 8-12 Years of Experience.

Additional certification in Lean, Six Sigma, MTM, or Industrial Engineering Tools preferred

KEY REPOSNIBILTIES

- Conduct time & motion studies, line balancing, and capacity analysis
- Design and optimize workflow, layouts, and material handling systems
- Improve productivity through Lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and waste elimination
- Develop SOPs, work instructions, and manpower planning Monitor productivity KPIs and drive continuous improvements

- Implement cost-reduction initiatives (PIP, Kaizen, VAVE)
- Improve ergonomics and workplace safety in production areas
- Standardize tools, fixtures, and workstations for optimal efficiency

- Support new product introduction (NPI) with process validation
- Collaborate with production, planning, and quality teams for smooth operations

- KEY AUTHORITY

- Authority to review and revise process standards
- Propose and implement productivity improvement actions




- Approve line balancing and manpower allocation changes
- Recommend process modifications for cost savings

- Access and analyze production data for decisionmaking
- Coordinate with crossfunctional teams for IErelated improvements

KEY RESULT AREA

- Productivity improvement (OEE, SPM, output/hour)

- Reduction in cycle time and takt time optimization
- Cost savings achieved through Kaizen & PIP
- Reduction in manpower through efficiency improvements
