Job Summary

We are looking for an Electrical Technician / Industrial Electrician responsible for electrical installation, plant wiring, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. The candidate should have practical experience working with industrial electrical systems, machinery, panels, motors, and control circuits.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out electrical wiring and installation for plant machinery, electrical panels, lighting, and utilities.
- Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot industrial electrical equipment.
- Perform plant wiring, cable laying, routing, termination, and panel connections.
- Read and understand electrical drawings, layouts, and basic schematics.
- Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and take appropriate corrective action.
- Work on motors, starters, control panels, sensors, and basic control circuits.
- Check electrical connections and ensure proper functioning of equipment.
- Follow electrical safety procedures, PPE requirements, and workplace safety standards.
- Maintain electrical tools, equipment, and the work area in safe working condition.




- Coordinate with the Maintenance and Production teams for electrical requirements.
- Maintain basic records of electrical maintenance, repairs, and breakdown activities.
- Support installation and commissioning of recent electrical equipment whenever required.

Required Skills
- Good practical knowledge of industrial electrical wiring and plant maintenance.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Basic knowledge of motors, starters, control panels, relays, contactors, and control circuits.
- Knowledge of cable termination, crimping, routing, and panel wiring.
- Basic electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
- Understanding of electrical safety practices and PPE.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a maintenance team.
- Willingness to work in shifts, if required.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- ITI Electrician/Wireman or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in an industrial/plant environment.
- Candidates with experience in plant wiring, industrial machinery, electrical panels, and maintenance will be preferred.
- Practical hands-on skills are more important than advanced theoretical knowledge.
