Job Title: In-House Lawyer

Reports to: Head of Legal/CEO / Managing Director

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled In-House Lawyer to join our legal team. The successful candidate will provide legal support and guidance to the organization, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, managing legal risks, and advising on various legal matters.

Key Responsibilities

1. Legal Advice:

- Provide legal advice and guidance to management, employees, and departments on various legal matters, including contracts, employment, intellectual property, and compliance.
- Analyze and interpret laws, regulations, and policies to ensure compliance.

1. Contract Management:

- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Ensure contracts are properly executed, stored, and maintained.

1. Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance.

1. Risk Management:

- Identify and assess legal risks, developing strategies to mitigate them.
- Collaborate with departments to manage and minimize legal risks.

1. Litigation and Disputes:

- Manage and coordinate litigation, disputes,



and other legal proceedings.
- Work with external counsel to resolve legal disputes.

1. Collaboration:

- Work closely with various departments, including management, HR, finance, and operations.
- Provide training and support to employees on legal matters.

Requirements
- Law degree (LL.B. or equivalent)
- Minimum 7 - 10 years of experience as an in-house lawyer or in a law firm
- Strong knowledge of laws and regulations relevant to our industry
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Real Estate and NBFC sector
- Experience with contract management software and other legal technology

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills

Salary Range 7Lakhs to 10 lakhs Per Annum Location: Churchgate , New Marine Lines, Mumbai
