Plasticizer produces chlorinated paraffin plasticizers for diverse PVC applications and imports PVC resin from leading international brands for use in hoses, pipes, cables, and rigid plumbing systems. It also imports petrochemicals such as normal paraffin, heavy normal paraffin, dearomatized solvents, and light paraffin for use in chlorinated paraffin production, paints, lubricants, thinners, and adhesives. The company is focused on continued expansion, with a target of 48,000 MT annual capacity from April 2023.

Role Description The Import Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all import operations for PVC resins and petrochemicals, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement aligned with production and sales requirements. This full-time, on-site role is based in North Delhi and involves managing relationships with international suppliers, freight forwarders, and shipping lines, as well as monitoring shipment schedules and documentation.

The Import

Manager will review and process import contracts, purchase orders, letters of credit, and customs documentation while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.



The role includes tracking inventory levels, optimizing logistics costs, resolving shipment and clearance issues, and collaborating with production, finance, and sales teams to support uninterrupted operations.

The Import

Manager will also analyze market trends, freight rates, and supplier performance to recommend improvements in sourcing and supply chain efficiency.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Import and Import Export operations, including documentation, compliance, and coordination with customs and regulatory bodies.
- Experience with Export procedures and related international trade practices to support potential outbound logistics or trade requirements.
- Proficiency in managing Ocean freight, including negotiation with shipping lines and forwarders, and tracking sea shipments.
- Demonstrated Customer Service skills for managing communication with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience in chemicals, petrochemicals, plastics, or related manufacturing industries is highly beneficial.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in contracts and documentation.
- Ability to work in office in North Delhi and collaborate effectively across production, finance, and sales teams.
- Proficiency with MS Office and ERP
