Position: IGCSE Teacher – Accountancy, Economics & Business Studies

Curriculum: Cambridge IGCSE

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in IGCSE Accountancy, Economics and Business Studies.
- Develop lesson plans in accordance with the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum and school academic standards.
- Prepare students for internal assessments, examinations and Cambridge IGCSE examinations.
- Teach key concepts through practical examples, case studies, projects and real-world business scenarios.
- Assess student performance regularly and provide constructive feedback.
- Prepare question papers, assignments, worksheets and other learning resources.
- Monitor students' academic progress and maintain accurate assessment records.
- Provide additional academic support and intervention to students when required.
- Encourage critical thinking, analytical skills, financial literacy and business awareness.
- Participate in parent meetings, staff meetings, professional development programmes and school events.




- Collaborate with other teachers and academic leaders to ensure effective curriculum delivery.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive and disciplined classroom environment.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Commerce, Accountancy, Economics, Business Administration or a related subject.
- B.Ed. or relevant teaching qualification preferred.
- Experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE curriculum is preferred.
- Strong subject knowledge in Accountancy, Economics and Business Studies.
- Excellent communication, presentation and classroom management skills.
- Ability to use technology and cutting-edge teaching methodologies effectively.

Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Cambridge assessment and examination requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate secondary school students.
- Experience in preparing students for IGCSE board examinations.

Pay: Up to ₹50,000.00 per month
