/ REQUIREMENTS

Key Responsibilities

- Design develop and maintain DB2 stored procedures and database functions on IBM i AS400
- Optimize and tune complex SQL queries for performance and scalability
- Develop and maintain enterprise level reports using DB2 SQL and related tools
- Collaborate with business analysts and application developers to understand requirements and translate them into efficient database solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve database related issues ensuring data integrity and system reliability
- Participate in code reviews testing and deployment of database changes
- Document database objects processes and best practices

Required Skills Experience





- 8+ years of experience with DB2 for IBM i AS400 database development
- Strong expertise in writing and optimizing stored procedures triggers and userdefined functions
- Advanced SQL skills including query tuning and performance optimization
- Experience with report development and data extraction for business intelligence
- Familiarity with IBM i AS400 system tools and utilities
- Understanding database security backup and recovery processes
- Excellent problemsolving and communication skills
- Solid experience with Operational Data Store ODS concepts and data modeling DLM is essential
- Proven ability to design and model application databases for transactional and reporting systems
