Key Responsibilities- HR Manager UniQude
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for academic, administrative, and corporate positions.
- Coordinate with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements and job specifications.
- Prepare and maintain Job Descriptions and recruitment documentation.
- Manage job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviews, selection, and offer processes.
- Ensure timely onboarding of selected candidates.
- Maintain recruitment trackers and hiring reports.
2. HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
- Manage employee joining, onboarding, transfers, promotions, confirmations, and exits.
- Maintain accurate and updated employee records and HR documentation.
- Ensure proper maintenance of employee personnel files and HRMS data.
- Manage attendance, leave, regularisation, and other HR-related processes.
- Coordinate with payroll/finance to ensure accurate and timely salary processing.
3. Performance Management
- Coordinate the performance appraisal and review process.
- Support managers in setting clear KRAs and KPIs.
- Monitor completion of probation, performance reviews, and confirmation processes.
- Assist in managing performance improvement plans where required.
4. Employee Relations
- Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related matters.
- Address employee concerns and grievances professionally and confidentially.
- Support managers in resolving workplace issues and maintaining a positive work environment.
- Promote employee engagement and effective communication across teams.
5. HR Policies & Compliance
- Implement and communicate HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and statutory requirements.
- Maintain appropriate HR documentation and records for audits and compliance requirements.
- Keep management informed about relevant HR and regulatory developments.
6. Learning & Development
- Identify training and development requirements in consultation with department heads.
- Coordinate internal and external training programmes.
- Maintain training records and evaluate training effectiveness.
- Support employee development and career progression initiatives.
7. Employee Engagement & Culture
- Plan and coordinate employee engagement activities and events.
- Support initiatives that improve employee morale, retention, and workplace culture.
- Conduct employee feedback/satisfaction initiatives where required.
- Promote a professional, inclusive,
and collaborative working environment.
8. HR Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare regular HR reports for management covering headcount, recruitment, attrition, attendance, leave, vacancies, and other key HR metrics.
- Maintain accurate HR dashboards and trackers.
- Provide data-driven insights to support workforce planning and management decisions.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Timely closure of approved vacancies.
- Quality of recruitment and new-hire retention.
- Accuracy of employee records and HRMS data.
- Timely completion of onboarding, confirmation, and appraisal processes.
- Payroll and attendance data accuracy.
- Employee grievance resolution within defined timelines.
- Compliance with HR policies and statutory requirements.
- Employee engagement and retention levels.
- Timely submission of HR reports.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources will be preferred.
- 5–8 years of relevant HR experience , preferably with experience in an educational institution, university, or professional services environment.
- Strong knowledge of HR operations, recruitment, employee relations, and labour compliance.
- Experience in HRMS and HR reporting.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder-management skills.
