Job Overview

We are looking for a proactive and organized Assistant Human Resource professional to join our HR team at New Delhi .

The candidate will support day-to-day HR operations and assist the HR leadership in managing the complete employee lifecycle. The position involves recruitment, onboarding, employee documentation, attendance and leave management, payroll coordination, HR MIS, performance management, employee engagement, statutory compliance, training coordination, grievance handling, and exit formalities .

The ideal candidate should possess strong communication and coordination skills, attention to detail, confidentiality, and practical experience in handling multiple HR responsibilities.

Key Responsibility Areas (KRA)1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

- Support end-to-end recruitment activities across different departments.
- Coordinate hiring for technical, engineering, project, production, sales, finance, IT, administration, and corporate positions.
- Post vacancies on LinkedIn, job portals, and other recruitment platforms.
- Source and screen candidates according to Job Descriptions and departmental requirements.
- Conduct preliminary HR screening and coordinate interviews with department heads.
- Follow up with shortlisted candidates regarding interviews, documentation, offers, and joining.
- Maintain recruitment trackers, candidate databases, vacancy reports, and hiring MIS.
- Assist in building a talent pipeline for current and future manpower requirements.

1. Employee Onboarding & Joining Formalities

- Coordinate the complete onboarding process for new employees.
- Collect and verify joining documents and maintain employee records.
- Prepare appointment letters and other employment-related documentation as assigned.
- Coordinate employee induction and orientation with relevant departments.
- Ensure new employees receive necessary information regarding company policies, reporting structures, attendance, and workplace procedures.
- Maintain joining and onboarding checklists.

1. Employee Documentation & Records

- Create and maintain accurate physical and digital employee files.
- Update employee information related to designation, department, reporting manager, compensation, transfer, promotion, and other employment changes.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of employee information.
- Ensure HR records remain complete, accurate, organized, and easily retrievable.
- Support documentation required for HR audits and management reviews.

1. Attendance & Leave Management

- Monitor and maintain employee attendance and leave records.
- Track absenteeism, late attendance, leave balances, and other attendance-related information.




- Coordinate with employees and department heads for attendance corrections and approvals.
- Prepare monthly attendance data for payroll processing.
- Maintain accurate leave and attendance reports.

1. Payroll & Compensation Coordination

- Assist in preparing monthly payroll inputs.
- Verify attendance, leave, overtime, incentives, deductions, reimbursements, and other relevant payroll information.
- Coordinate payroll-related employee queries with the concerned team.
- Maintain salary revision, increment, and compensation-related documentation.
- Ensure payroll information is handled accurately and confidentially.

1. HR Operations & Administration

- Support smooth execution of daily HR activities and administrative processes.
- Assist in issuing HR letters, confirmations, transfers, promotions, warnings, and other employee communications as required.
- Coordinate HR requirements with different departments and locations.
- Ensure employees follow established HR policies and procedures.
- Support the Senior HR Manager and management with routine and special HR assignments.

1. Performance Management

- Assist with implementation of KRA/KPI-based performance management processes .
- Coordinate employee goal-setting and performance appraisal documentation.
- Follow up with department heads and employees for timely completion of performance reviews.
- Maintain appraisal, increment, promotion, and performance-related records.
- Assist in monitoring Performance Improvement Plans (PIP), wherever applicable.

1. Employee Engagement

- Support employee engagement, recognition, and workplace culture initiatives.
- Coordinate festivals, celebrations, employee activities, meetings, and internal events.
- Assist in employee communication and company-wide HR announcements.
- Gather employee feedback and communicate relevant observations to HR leadership.
- Help create a positive, collaborative, and professional workplace workplace.

1. Employee Relations & Grievance Coordination

- Act as an initial point of contact for routine employee HR queries.
- Listen to employee concerns professionally and escalate sensitive matters to senior HR management.
- Support grievance handling and conflict-resolution processes.
- Assist in maintaining workplace discipline and professional conduct.
- Handle employee-related information with discretion, fairness, and confidentiality.

1. Statutory Compliance Support

- Assist the HR team in maintaining documentation for applicable statutory and labour-law requirements.
- Support records and coordination relating to PF, ESIC, gratuity, bonus, POSH, leave, wages, and other applicable employment compliances .
- Maintain required employee and compliance documentation.
- Assist during HR, statutory, and internal audits.
- Coordinate with HR leadership and consultants for required compliance information.

1. HR MIS & Reporting

- Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly HR reports.
- Maintain data relating to headcount, vacancies, recruitment, joining, attendance, leave, attrition, and employee movements.
- Update organizational manpower databases and employee trackers.
- Prepare reports using MS Excel and HR systems .




- Ensure HR data is accurate and submitted to management within defined timelines.

1. Learning & Development

- Coordinate employee training programs based on identified requirements.
- Maintain training calendars, nominations, attendance, feedback, and training records.
- Coordinate with employees, department heads, trainers, and external agencies where required.
- Support technical, behavioral, safety, and professional development programs.
- Assist HR leadership in evaluating training effectiveness.

1. Employee Separation & Exit Management

- Coordinate resignation acceptance and employee exit documentation.
- Manage departmental clearance and exit formalities.
- Assist in scheduling and documenting exit interviews.
- Coordinate required inputs for full-and-final settlement.
- Update employee records and HR systems after separation.
- Maintain proper documentation of resigned and separated employees.

1. HR Policies & SOP Implementation

- Support implementation and communication of HR policies, SOPs, and workplace guidelines.
- Help employees understand applicable HR procedures and policies.
- Monitor adherence to established processes.
- Assist HR leadership in updating HR documents, formats, policies, and processes.
- Ensure consistent implementation of HR procedures across departments.

Candidate Requirements
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in Human Resources.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Commerce, or a related discipline .
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources will be preferred.
- Practical experience in recruitment, onboarding, HR operations, attendance, employee documentation, and HR MIS.
- Understanding of payroll coordination and statutory HR compliance.
- Knowledge of employee engagement, performance management, and HR policies.
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, PEB, steel, infrastructure, EPC, or construction organizations will be preferred.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Office, HR documentation, and reporting .
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good interpersonal, organizational, and coordination abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.
- Candidate should be comfortable working full-time from New Delhi .
