Aaditya Equipment is a growing manufacturer and supplier of scaffolding and construction equipment, serving contractors, builders, infrastructure companies, dealers and construction projects across India.
We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Manager who can independently manage the complete HR function and build a disciplined, productive and employee-friendly work environment.
Job Summary The HR Manager will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, attendance, payroll coordination, employee engagement, performance management, HR policies, statutory compliance and workforce administration.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a manufacturing setting, managing both office employees and factory/workforce requirements, and should have strong people-management and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Hiring
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for factory, sales, office and support positions.
- Understand manpower requirements from different departments and prepare hiring plans.
- Source candidates through job portals, references, consultants, social media and local recruitment channels.
- Screen CVs, conduct initial interviews and coordinate further rounds.
- Maintain a recruitment tracker and ensure positions are closed within the required timeline.
- Build and maintain a database of suitable candidates for future requirements.
2. Joining & Employee Onboarding
- Manage complete joining formalities and employee documentation.
- Conduct induction and orientation for new employees.
- Explain company policies, rules, attendance systems and workplace expectations.
- Ensure proper employee records and personal files are maintained.
3. Attendance & Leave Management
- Monitor daily attendance, late coming, absenteeism and leave.
- Maintain accurate attendance records for office and factory employees.
- Manage leave applications and leave records.
- Identify attendance-related issues and take corrective action in coordination with management.
4. Payroll & Salary Coordination
- Coordinate monthly payroll processing with accounts.
- Verify attendance, overtime, incentives, deductions, leave and other payroll inputs.
- Ensure salary-related data is accurate and submitted on time.
- Address employee queries related to salary, attendance and deductions.
5. Factory Workforce Management
- Manage HR requirements related to factory workers, helpers, welders and other production staff.
- Coordinate manpower requirements with production and factory management.
- Monitor worker discipline, attendance and productivity-related concerns.
- Support workforce planning based on production requirements.
- Assist management in resolving employee and worker-related issues.
6. HR Policies & Processes
- Develop, implement and regularly update HR policies and procedures.
- Establish clear policies for attendance, leave, working hours, discipline, employee conduct and workplace behaviour.
- Ensure employees understand and follow company policies.
- Maintain proper HR documentation and records.
7. Employee Relations
- Act as the primary HR point of contact for employees.
- Handle employee grievances, conflicts and workplace concerns professionally.
- Maintain a positive and disciplined work environment.
- Conduct regular employee interactions to understand concerns and improve retention.
- Take appropriate disciplinary action wherever required in consultation with management.
8. Performance Management
- Coordinate employee performance reviews and appraisals.
- Work with department heads to establish KRAs/KPIs.
- Track employee performance and identify areas requiring improvement.
- Support performance improvement plans wherever required.
- Help management build a performance-driven culture.
9. Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and employment regulations.
- Coordinate requirements related to PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Bonus, Gratuity, Minimum Wages, Shops & Establishments and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Maintain required statutory records and documentation.
- Coordinate with consultants and government authorities whenever required.
10. Employee Engagement & Retention
- Plan employee engagement activities and initiatives.
- Develop recognition and reward programs.
- Identify reasons for employee turnover and recommend corrective measures.
- Promote a positive workplace culture.
11. HR MIS & Reporting
- Maintain accurate employee databases and HR records.
- Prepare monthly HR reports for management.
- Track manpower strength, recruitment, attrition, absenteeism, attendance and employee costs.
- Provide management with relevant HR insights and reports for decision-making.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of HR processes and practices.

- Good understanding of labour laws and statutory compliance.
- Solid employee-handling and conflict-resolution skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and HR software/HRMS.

- Ability to manage both office employees and factory/workforce employees.
- Mature, professional and approachable personality.
Educational Qualification MBA/PGDM in Human Resources / HR Management preferred.
Graduates with relevant HR experience may also be considered.

37 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in:
- Manufacturing
- Engineering
- Construction
- Infrastructure
- Industrial organisations
- SME / Mid-sized companies
Experience in handling factory workforce and blue-collar employees will be an advantage.
