We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to manage day-to-day HR operations, including payroll coordination, compliance, employee onboarding, joining formalities, documentation, attendance, and employee records. The candidate should have hands-on experience in generalist HR activities and be comfortable handling multiple HR processes independently.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Employee Joining & Onboarding
- Handle complete employee joining formalities and documentation.
- Collect and verify KYC, educational and employment documents.
- Prepare and maintain joining forms, employee files and HR records.
- Coordinate with candidates and management during the onboarding process.
- Ensure timely completion of joining formalities.
2. Payroll Management
- Coordinate monthly payroll processing with the payroll team/third-party payroll agency.
- Collect and verify attendance, leave, overtime and other payroll inputs.
- Ensure accurate salary processing and resolve payroll-related queries.
- Maintain salary and employee-related records.
3. Statutory Compliance
- Coordinate and support statutory compliance activities such as PF, ESIC, PT, TDS and other applicable compliances.
- Maintain compliance-related employee records and documentation.
- Coordinate with external consultants/agencies wherever required.
- Ensure timely submission of required information and documents.
4. Attendance & Leave Management
- Maintain daily attendance and employee leave records.
- Monitor late coming, absenteeism and leave balances.
- Prepare attendance inputs for monthly payroll processing.
5. Employee Records & Documentation
- Maintain updated employee databases and personnel files.
- Ensure all HR documentation is properly maintained and updated.
- Prepare HR reports and MIS as required by management.
6. HR Generalist Activities
- Handle day-to-day employee queries and HR-related concerns.
- Manage employee confirmation, transfers, exits and full & final formalities.
- Issue HR-related letters and documents whenever required.
- Support management in implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with employees, management and third-party payroll partners.
Candidate Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant HR Generalist experience.
- MBA / PGDM in HR preferred.
- Hands-on knowledge of payroll, compliance and employee joining formalities.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and HR documentation.
- Robust communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to independently manage day-to-day HR operations.
- Candidates from Structural Engineering / Construction / Engineering industries will be preferred.
Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period will be preferred.
