Job Summary:

- Job Title/ Role Senior General Manager - Operations Job Objective The role encompasses overseeing and managing the entire spectrum of large-scale 3PL

Warehousing operations PAN India. Efficient and effective management of all warehouse activities with strategic oversight ensuring operational excellence, cost efficiency, and adherence to safety standards to support the company's strategic goals and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning and Leadership

- Develop and execute strategic plans for warehousing operations aligned withorganizational objectives.
- Provide leadership and direction to ensure efficient utilization of warehouse resources andspace.
- Forecast and plan for future warehousing needs based on business growth and objectives.Operational Excellence & Efficiency:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple large-scale warehouses PAN India,including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Implement best practices to optimize processes, reduce costs, and improve productivity.
- Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of warehouse managers, supervisors, and staff across multiplelocations.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability.Inventory Management:
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to maintain accurate stock levelsand minimize discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with inventory management best practices and regulatoryrequirements. Logistics and Distribution:

- Manage transportation and distribution networks to ensure timely delivery of goods tocustomers.




- Collaborate with logistics partners to optimize transportation routes and reduce shippingcosts. Technology and Systems:

- Utilize data analytics to drive decision-making and improve operational efficiency.
- Evaluate and implement warehouse management systems (WMS), TMS and othertechnologies to streamline operations and improve data accuracy.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in logistics technology.Quality and Safety Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and industry certifications.
- Implement measures to maintain a safe working workplace and prevent occupationalhazards.

Financial Management

- Responsible for P&L; of Operations PAN India and achieve company’s targets.
- Develop and manage budgets for warehousing operations, monitoring expenses andidentifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Analyze financial performance metrics to support strategic planning and decision-makingVendor and Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to optimize logistics anddistribution networks.
- Build and maintain strong relationships to facilitate smooth operations and resolveissues promptly.

Associated Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Qualification Proven experience in a senior leadership role within warehousing and logistics operations, preferably in a large-scale environment in setting up / establishing new large-scale operations (Warehouses) and Tech Savvy.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field./ MBA/PGDM in Operations, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics is preferred.

Experience: 18 ~ 25 years of relevant experience
