Role Overview
UROLIME is looking for an experienced HR Manager to lead the HR function and work closely with management, department heads and the existing HR team.
The role will have overall responsibility for HR operations, talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, learning & development, payroll, statutory compliance and HR policies, while supporting the organisation's continued growth and people priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the HR function and provide guidance and direction to the HR team.
- Manage the complete employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, confirmation, career progression and separation.
- Partner with management and department heads on manpower planning, talent requirements and people-related matters.
- Oversee technical and non-technical recruitment and ensure effective hiring and onboarding.
- Manage performance appraisals, goal setting, increments, promotions and performance improvement processes.
- Drive employee engagement, retention, learning & development and employee communication initiatives.
- Manage employee relations, grievances and workplace matters with appropriate confidentiality and consistency.
- Review, develop and implement HR policies, procedures and HR best practices in line with organisational requirements.
- Oversee monthly payroll processing, attendance, leave, salary revisions, incentives, deductions and full & final settlements.
- Ensure timely statutory compliance including PF, ESI,
Kerala Welfare Fund/EWF, Professional Tax, TDS, Bonus, Gratuity, POSH and applicable labour laws.
- Maintain effective HRMS, employee records, statutory documentation and audit readiness.
- Track and report HR metrics including headcount, attrition, recruitment, employee cost, attendance and payroll.
- Coordinate with Finance, external consultants, auditors and statutory authorities as required.
- Support management with HR insights, workforce planning and employee development initiatives.
Candidate Profile
- MBA in Human Resources – Mandatory.
- 6–10 years of relevant HR experience, with exposure to managing a broad range of HR functions.
- Experience in an IT/ITES, software or technology services organisation is strongly preferred.
- Experience in leading or supervising an HR team.
- Robust knowledge of talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, payroll and statutory compliance.
- Good understanding of Indian employment practices and applicable Kerala labour regulations.
- Strong HRMS, Excel, MIS and HR analytics capabilities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work closely with both employees and senior management while maintaining confidentiality and sound judgement.
