Key Roles & Responsibilities

Industrial Relations & Employee Relations

- Maintain harmonious industrial relations and a positive work environment across

the shipyard.
- Build and sustain productive relationships with employees, workmen, unions,

and contractor workforce.
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution in a

timely and effective manner.
- Facilitate communication between management and workforce to promote

transparency and trust.
- Support workforce discipline and ensure adherence to company policies and

procedures.

HR Operations

- Oversee end-to-end HR operations including onboarding, attendance

management, leave administration, employee records, and payroll inputs.
- Ensure smooth execution of employee lifecycle processes.
- Support manpower planning, recruitment coordination, and workforce

deployment activities.
- Maintain HRMIS and employee documentation with accuracy and

confidentiality.

Labour Law Compliance

- Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws, statutory regulations, and

government requirements.
- Liaise with labour authorities, government departments, and external agencies





during inspections and audits.
- Maintain statutory registers, records, licenses, and returns related to labour

compliance.
- Coordinate compliance activities related to contract labour and industrial

regulations. Contractor & Workforce Management
- Monitor contractor compliance, workforce attendance, documentation, and

statutory obligations.
- Ensure effective management of contractual manpower and adherence to safety

and workplace regulations.
- Coordinate welfare initiatives, skill development programs, and employee

engagement activities for workers and contractors. Administration & Welfare
- Oversee worker welfare facilities, industrial canteen operations, housekeeping,

security, and related support services.
- Drive employee engagement, culture-building initiatives, and welfare programs.
- Promote a safe, productive, and employee-friendly work workplace.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
