HR MANAGER

Location: Bangalore

Work Mode: 5 Days Work From Office (WFO)

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and people-focused HR Manager to join our Bangalore team and take ownership of key HR functions, including Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Policy Implementation.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can effectively balance people and business needs. You will work closely with leadership and managers to ensure HR policies and processes are implemented consistently, workplace standards are maintained, and employees have a positive and productive experience.

A key part of this role will be building a strong talent pipeline so that we are able to attract the right people not only for current vacancies but also for future business requirements.

We are looking for someone who is confident, organised, approachable, and comfortable taking ownership of HR matters and having difficult conversations when required.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Talent Pipeline

- Manage and support end-to-end recruitment for assigned roles, from sourcing and screening through interviews, offers, and onboarding.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for both immediate and future hiring requirements.
- Develop proactive sourcing strategies to identify and engage high-quality talent.
- Build relationships with potential candidates even when there is no immediate vacancy.
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements and ensure the right talent is being identified.
- Maintain an organised recruitment tracker and ensure hiring activities move efficiently through each stage.
- Support employer branding initiatives that effectively communicate the company's culture, values, and career opportunities.
- Continuously identify new sourcing channels and recruitment methods to improve the quality and speed of hiring.

HR Operations & Policy Implementation

- Manage day-to-day HR operations for the Bangalore team.
- Implement company HR policies, processes, and procedures effectively across the organisation.
- Ensure employees at all levels understand and follow company policies, workplace rules, and expected standards of conduct.
- Monitor attendance, leave, working hours, and other HR-related requirements.




- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
- Ensure HR processes are followed consistently and address gaps or non-compliance proactively.
- Identify areas where HR processes can be improved and recommend practical solutions.
- Ensure new employees receive appropriate induction and understand company policies and expectations.

Employee Relations, Engagement & Retention

- Build strong working relationships with employees and managers.
- Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, workplace issues, and HR-related queries.
- Handle employee relations matters fairly, professionally, and confidentially.
- Support managers in addressing performance, behavioural, attendance, and other employee-related concerns.
- Conduct regular employee check-ins and proactively identify potential engagement or retention issues.
- Develop initiatives to improve employee engagement, recognition, development, and retention.
- Identify reasons for employee attrition and work with leadership on practical retention strategies.
- Help create a positive, accountable, and high-performance workplace culture.

Performance & People Development

- Support the organisation's performance management and review processes.
- Work with managers to ensure performance expectations are clearly communicated and followed.
- Assist in identifying employee development and training requirements.
- Coordinate HR and employee training initiatives where required.
- Support leadership in workforce planning and organisational development.

Compliance & HR Governance

- Ensure HR practices are aligned with applicable employment laws and company policies.
- Maintain appropriate HR documentation and records.
- Ensure required HR processes and statutory obligations are followed.
- Work with external HR/legal advisors when required on employment-related matters.




- Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement when handling sensitive employee information.

What We're Looking For

- 4+ years of experience in HR, preferably within a technology, SaaS, digital, or fast-paced organisation.
- Strong experience across HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, and Employee Engagement.
- Proven ability to implement company policies and ensure employees consistently follow rules and processes.
- Strong capability in building and maintaining a quality talent pipeline.
- Hands-on experience with recruitment and candidate sourcing.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to confidently handle difficult conversations and employee-related situations.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Ability to work independently while partnering effectively with managers and leadership.
- Good understanding of HR policies, employment practices, and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with HRIS, recruitment software, and candidate tracking methods is preferred.
- Experience in a technology or SaaS environment will be an advantage.
